Being born again means the believer’s old self, dominated by sin, is gone, and they have been made new in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17).
The Lord's Supper:The Lord's Supper serves as a remembrance of Christ's sacrifice and a celebration of the new covenant. The Lord's Supper, also known as Communion, is observed once a month.
Community: Middletown Road Baptist Church values the importance of community and fellowship among believers. It encourages members to grow together in their faith through small groups, Bible studies, and other activities that foster spiritual growth and support.

What We Believe at Middletown Road Baptist Church

Middletown Road Baptist Church (MRBC) is a Bible-Believing, independent Baptist Church.

We come together to worship God , to receive:

Instruction in His Word, to Fellowship with other Believers, and to Evangelize (tell the unsaved about the Glory of Christ).

(1 Corinthians 10:31) “Therefore whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”

MRBC believes that all Scripture is God breathed. We also believe that God's Word is sufficient to guide His church in all areas of life and practice Especially, through all of the trials; tribulations; and joys this life has to offer.

(2 Tim 3:16-17 ) “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness ,that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."

Middletown Road Baptist Church seeks to be God centered. Our desire is that everything would be focused on God and His glory. As we come together to worship, our aim is to behold His glory. As we behold the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ, we are transformed into His image.

(2 Cor 3:18) “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.”

As the body of Christ, we are called to come together in love. We are also called to edify and build one another up for the work of the ministry in which Christ has called us to. Our church has opportunities for everyone to exercise their spiritual gifts and grow in Christ. We believe that every child of God has been given a gift for the building up of the local church.

(Eph 4:16) “from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.”

MRBC is also committed to the expository preaching of the Word of God. We believe that God meets with His people, ministering to them grace and transformation through preaching.
